All We Have

from Of Heart & Stone by Mad Dog Friedman

/

about

This project is my attempt to break out of my forty plus year old and forty plus song deep 12 bar blues strong box. It represents a challenge that I hope is proving that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

lyrics

All We Have (Dance with Me)

All we have is what we give,
healing love forever lives.
All our days, what we take,
what we hold obscures our way.

Come on and dance. Please come and dance with me.
Shake it off, let your aching heart soar free.

Don't let the pain rearrange your brain.
The more it hurts the more you'll change.
Nothing wasted, nothing wrong, nothing broken endures for long.

Come on and dance. Please come and dance with me.
Shake it off, let your aching heart soar free.

Come on and dance. Please come and dance with me.
Shake it off, let your aching heart soar free.
