lyrics

The End of the Endless Night

Verse 1:
The way we go is / cold and long.
Too far gone now / to right the wrong.
Our curves are steep, / our shoulder’s strong,
Scream out loud / your silent song.

Verse 2:
The dreams we’re fed / slip from sane.
The hearts we hold / sting with pain.
Still no reason / for a sad refrain,
Drink the stars / cry bright rain.

Chorus:
The last one left to write is dreaming,
Letting go with one long sigh.
When endless night starts a streaming,
Bathe your soul in liquid light.

Verse 3:
All will flow / before too long,
Tears of love, / blood of dawn,
Our bodies now / all disarmed,
Swinging through / true to form.

Verse 4:
We'll run this road / until we're gone.
Feeling good / can't be wrong.
Our tears are warm / our will is strong,
Break your heart / with joyful song.

Chorus:
The last one left to write is dreaming,
Letting go with one long sigh.
When endless night starts a streaming,
Bathe your soul in liquid light.
